Value Functions and Generalized Valuation Theory

Resumé : Starting from primes in algebras one recovers valuations and Dubrovin valuations. To primes in simple Artinian rings there are value functions and these sometimes define filtrations and reductions of algebras. We propose a study of these effects of generalized valuation theory.
